Megashark VS. Giant Octopus

We just got home from a long day at Finncon/Animecon 2011 and decided to get some entertainment for the evening. So we rented Megashark VS. Giant Octopus. Yes, that is the actual movie name. It's starred by Lorenzo Lamas and Debbie Gibson. Yes, Debbie Gibson, the pop starlet from years back.

I must say this movie doesn't disappoint. The acting is god-awful, the dialog is stupid enough for your brain to ooze out of your ears and the effects are apparently done by a 5 year old.
All of that makes the flick pretty much perfect entertainment. I mean there's a gigantic prehistoric shark jumping up to the sky and eating a plane!



What more could one ask for? Seriously, this movie might just be the best worst movie ever.

Yes, that is the golden gate the Megashark is munching on.

After this we simply must also see Asylum entertainment's next work of art MEGA PIRANHA!
